The man behind it all
Eli Hauber
From Here to Human was born out of that realization. It reflects what I believe to be true: there is far more good than we’re led to believe and far more that connects us than divides us. FHTH was started to help others feel what I’ve felt — the kind of connection with the world that doesn’t just shake you, but shapes you.
I’m not here to go viral. I’m here to go further, to slow down, to listen, and to assist others in drawing closer to the world, to each other, and to themselves. Whether through storytelling, shared experience, or spontaneous conversation, I believe this is how we begin to see more clearly, live more freely, and love more wholly.
I believe success is measured by the imprint I manage to leave on the many people and places I touch throughout my lifetime. So if there’s one thing I hope you take away from my work, it’s this:
We’re not so different after all ❤️
Hey, I’m Eli! Born and raised in Colorado, I’m now living/studying in France and traveling wherever and whenever I can, not just to see the world, but to understand it and find my place within it.
From a young age, my path took me far from the typical tourist destinations, spending family vacations in India and Kenya. Later, these experiences led me to solo travel through rural Ugandan villages that few will ever come to know. As you can imagine, these experiences changed me in ways I’ll likely never comprehend. More than anything, though, travel has revealed to me just how often the world and its people are misunderstood, misrepresented, and overlooked.
